Home Hazard Checklist

A room-by-room prevention check with no toxic-dose calculations.

Use prevention to reduce access

Work through storage and access with everyone in the household. Recheck after visitors, decorating, a new puppy or changes in mobility. A completed list does not certify a home as safe; it prompts practical action.

Keep a response plan

Keep veterinary and out-of-hours contacts available and retain original product labels. Everyone should know not to induce vomiting or give home remedies. Poisoning response.
