Canine DNA research supports forensic investigations

United Kingdom · Source publication:

King’s College London and Royal Veterinary College researchers are developing a canine DNA database for forensic casework. The university reports existing police collaborations and describes comparisons between crime-scene material and dog samples. Some further applications remain proposed; the report does not establish an automatic test of a dog’s behaviour or guilt.
