Former shelter dog Canyon honoured for specialist search work
United States · Source publication:
The ASPCA honoured search dog Canyon at its Humane Awards on 8 October, alongside the Colorado Rapid Avalanche Deployment organisation. The charity describes Canyon’s route from a Mississippi shelter to specialist training and disaster-response work. The award celebrates an established working partnership, not a suggestion that any pet can undertake emergency searches.
