Our story Scotland

Small dogs.
Big idea.

Head & Paws began with Odie: one small Chihuahua, considerable character and some firmly held views about how dogs should be looked after.

Odie · Born 2020

The original Head & Paws.

Odie supplied the name, the personality and the reason for the company—although he continues to describe his role as “senior management”. His standards are exacting: walks should be interesting, blankets should be plentiful and the time between hearing a treat packet and receiving a treat should be kept to an absolute minimum.

Rooted in Scotland.

The Head & Paws name was filed as a UK trade-mark application on 17 June 2023. Head & Paws Ltd was then incorporated in Scotland on 3 July 2023—the date the company formally began.

Head & Paws is being developed in Scotland. The range will bring together dog and puppy coat care with selected practical pet supplies, presented with clarity and a distinctive identity.

Our ambition reaches beyond Scotland. As the range develops, we intend to serve customers across the United Kingdom and internationally, supported by responsible product information and distribution arrangements.

Built carefully.

We are taking a measured approach to development. Product details, ingredients, directions and availability will be published only when confirmed. That keeps the information customers see accurate and useful.
